In response to changing culinary needs across the globe, pasta pioneer Rustichella d’Abruzzo has created a new, one-of-a-kind pasta made exclusively with organic, gluten-free, GMO-free corn flour. The result is subtle and delicious corn flavor in an artisan pasta that cooks to the perfect al dente bite. Orzo ("barley" in Italian) is named for its grain-like shape. It belongs to the pasta category Italians call pastina ("little pasta") and is much beloved for use in soups. Rustichella d'Abruzzo Organic Corn Orzo keeps its shape and texture beautifully. It's—of course—perfect in soups, but also wonderful as a contorno (side dish) with pesto, or in salads. Rustichella d'Abruzzo Organic Corn Orzo is produced in a completely separate gluten-free facility, away from any conventional flour contact. Each box bears the Euro Leaf logo, guaranteeing it certified organic by the European Union and the Controllo e Certificazione Prodotti Biologici (CCPB).
