This selection of cereals and pulses derives from an ancient agricultural tradition within the Bartolini family. These natural and genuine products complete the main oil production of the company. First of all, the characteristic lentils, small in size and with different color taints, are soft in taste and immediately ready for cooking even without having to dip them in water beforehand. Then we come to the spelt, staple in the cereal family, rich in nutrient factors, perfectly digestible, to be tasted in endless recipes that allow it to be cooked as simple rice. For those who love delicate flavors, pearl-type barley is very valid substitute to classical rice, because it has a sure new taste. Finally, there are chickpeas and cicerculate (chickpea variant), the former being well-known, while the latter have become rather archaic, two products of the same family, ideal for very tasty soups and dressings.
